Pre-Season Meeting Set For Sunday, May 6

Summer and football season planning is underway as the Ponies look to build their 2018 program and team rosters. Coaches will be introduced and player expectations, summer training, and volunteer opportunities will be among the focus of an informational meeting on Sunday, May 6 at 6 PM at Stillwater Area High School auditorium.

“This pre-season meeting gives the coaching staff, captain parents, and the Ponies Touchdown Club an opportunity to get organized and share significant information,” said Ponies Football Head Coach Beau LaBore. “Players and families will know what we expect to do and how we want to do it as we structure the months leading into our first game in late August.”

Key topics on the May 6th agenda include Ponies Football vision and mission, high school coaches, captain and captains’ parents introductions, summer Pony Power and Performance, Pony Camp, summer practice, and 7 on 7 opportunities. Coaches will discuss fall schedules, volunteer opportunities, spirit wear orders, PTC, and the Ponies Football Helmet Initiative. Player and parent/guardian attendance at the informational meeting is expected and is an integral part of the commitment to football.
