The Stillwater Ponies football program and the Ponies Touchdown Club want to encourage all supporters in the Valley to vote on November 5.  This vote is critical to the growth and development of all Stillwater Area student-athletes!

The ability to achieve and sustain our mission is dependent on the passage of the 2013 Stillwater Area Schools operating levy. An approved levy means going forward:

-Educational excellence for all kids in our communities

-Safety improvements to all buildings including secured school entrances to benefit all kids

-Addition of art and world languages in elementary schools; increased anti-bullying programs and mental health services district wide for all kids.

-Implementing “The New Stillwater Experience” in all grade levels by investing in community inspired bridge to excellence plan to prepare our kids for success in our ever changing world

A failed levy means going backward:

-An automatic $11 million in budget reductions in the next school year that directly impact the quality of the kid’s education in our valley.

-A 4-day school week and reduced transportation impacting public, charter, and non-public schools. Our kids deserve better than this!

-Larger class sizes, reduced music programs in grades 5-12

-Fewer electives for secondary students with mandatory study hall instead of relevant electives designed to “spark” passion, curiosity and student engagement.
