Our 10th-12th grade players will be equipped in the new Adidas Techfit Uniform. The vision of this uniform was intended to blend our traditional uniform looks with the new, cutting edge technology. A few of our juniors tried on samples of this jersey and were like kids in a candy shop. The uniforms will improve the look and performance of our players. We are in desperate need of new uniforms. Our uniforms are outdated, coming apart, fading, and lag behind both the material and technology available and our competition in the SEC. Our sophomore team is using a white jersey that dates back to the early 1980s. Moreover, if every ninth grader plays football this fall we will have a noticeable shortage. In other words, this is not a trendy perspective predicated on Oregon’s 144 uniform combinations which many colleges have mimicked, it is a deficiency. We are fortunate to have struck a great deal to remedy this need.
